As I get older, it is definitely harder to lose weight or even to maintain. For me, the only way I've found to drop the pounds is to keep a food diary. It really helps me to stop mindless snacking and to focus on proper portion size. I'd been 'dieting' for a month before coming back to Fatsecret. On my own, I only lost 2.5 lbs in a month. Now that I'm keeping track of my food and eating healthier, I lost over 2 lbs this week! I'm sure at least some of it was water weight, having cut back on junk food. But, I'll take it! :-)
