I guess sometimes people comment without knowing the full story. I think it is great that you have lived Atkins for so long. That is my plan. I think it will be a lot easier when I actually get down to my goal weight. I think I may need some tips on how to get there. I try to keep my focus and I don't cheat but I seem to stall a lot. Have you ever had that problem. How did you get past the plateus? I keep a daily food log in my journal if you want to look at what I am eating. I don't log it in the fatsecret diet log, I just type it into my journal with carb counts. Thanks.

Found a new low carb flat bread that is fantastic with a tbl spoon of sugar free pizza sauce and pepperoni and mozzarella cheese. fantastic!! It's called Italian herb Light Flatout Wraps It has 6 net carbs and 9 grams of fiber!!! The flavor is so good the only thing is you have to eat it with a fork and knife because it is thin. but it's great I just broil it in the oven for 2 minutes and that's it. Really good. I love pizza and it's always been my downfall so when i came up with this I was elated. If I seems too excited I am... I even got my mother on this too.anyway it's also good if you put some green bell peppers and/or mushrooms too. But plain pepperoni is good all on it's own

How do you transition from OWL to Maintenance? Have you found the transition easy or hard. Do you cut fats or do you keep the fat intake the same? Just wondering. :)

I guess that I'm the one who commented on the possibility of gaining the weight back if you don't do all four phases of the plan. In my defense you do not mention that you have been on Atkins for 8 years in your profile or in any of your previous journal entries, so I apologize for not being a mind reader. From the information you posted it appeared that you were potentially going to skip some very important steps and I just wanted to make you think about not doing that. Heck, losing the weight is hard enough the first (or second, or third) time, I just hate to see people set themselves up for failure by not doing the plan correctly and then blame the plan. Yes, Atkins is a wonderful plan and I am happy that you have had success with it for 8 years.
