ATTACK OF THE VEGGIES...or lack there of...

I was laid off from my job in early april...i have to admit that im having a little bit of depression. i cannot believe i gave up an agency that i had built for 5 years and then 4 months later be laid off...im not feeling very motivated...sorry

on the other hand - dlandrews (diane) is slated to come home on tuesday...i will try to make it out to see her as soon as she can have visitors...

i have accepted a small challenge from someone that has my same birthday to lose 17 by nov 16th...i will now attempt to do this and by doing so, it will make me get up and moving - and maybe deplete some of this i feel sorry for me S*&T...

i am now off to read journals and catch up on everyone..have a great day/night...love ya all

So sorry about your job and I hope you snap out of your depression. I know sometimes it can be hard. Exercising will definitely help you with that. Glad to see you back and 17 by November is very doable. Good Luck and lets get started.

Record your weight so you can watch it come down...even a few ounces at a time will have you feeling successful. Glad you are back!!!!!!!!!!!

sharon...i do not know my weight...i go by what my size is - im back in 12/14 range, where i had been 10/12...that is my marker...lol...thanks

I too am sorry to hear about your job veggies. Sometimes the old has to burn down in order to make way for the new. Learn from it, and hopefully you will see, in time, that it was a good thing that happened. God Bless you my friend, and please don't stay away for too long, we miss you!

Oh man Veggies... times are hard. You gotta get up and make your happiness though, no one else will! Think of it as a new opportunity. You just have to find it! Speaking of I love this new challenge you got... and I think Info and Sharon are right. Post it, be proud you did, and LOSE it. Sometimes I wish I had a bigger number to brag about LOL! Thats bad huh? and journal... remember how important that is and how good it feels to release it and get feed back.

Hey, welcome back! I know from experience that losing a job is tough to deal with. Even though it might not seem like it now, it will all work out. Have confidence in yourself!
