Okay, i am starting to feel a little better today. No workout but went for a long walk with the human and canine roommates. Then puttered around in the yard, which i do not enjoy in and of itself, but it burns calories and helps me get out my frustrations. Taking a rest but may go back out in a bit after it cools off.
I have definitely slipped and slid the last couple of weeks, but this is to be expected. Ready to pull up my socks and keep chugging along!
PS: two of my takeaways for today. 1) people's b/a pix are so inspiring! Like some others, i can't stand to have my picture taken. But i am trying to do whatever i can to motivate myself, and people say to take pictures. Can't wait to join your ranks. 2) even though i am doing it, it will be counter to my goals to put deadlines on weight loss. My body has its own timetable, and i am going to need its cooperation, so i don't want us to fight!

Interesting you said that about deadlines. I said the exact same thing today. I am making goals but I decided that I can't be stressing out about how long it takes me to get to the goal b/c sometimes I don't eat right and I gain/lose the same 5 pounds a few times.

Try to remember the big picture, your long term goals. You are on your schedule so stay the course. If you fall, then get back up. you only have to impress yourself and you only have to stay up more times than you fall!

Ny-shelly, you are the one who said it and that was what reminded me, haha! I always say i won't expect a strict and smooth timeline, but here i am, doing just that. I really just need to keep taking care of today and let the future take care of itself!

We're with ya !!!! Not fun looking at pictures, let alone thinking of posting them often....but hey if others are courageous enough ---we should be too I suppose!!!! I wish you the best of luck on your endeavor, and look forward to seeing some photos in the future...... Take care !
