Linalie's Journal, 25 April 2018

I don't understand why I'm gaining. I'm at a calorie deficit and exercising. I'm steadily gaining 0.2 lbs a day, so I don't think it's random fluctuations. I'm weighing every morning at the same time after my business and before food and water too. I feel like I'm doing everything right, but it's not working :(
124.8 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 4.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

@Sharonbuzo I weigh every day so I can calculate a weekly average, so I wouldn't want to entirely stop weighing. I'm getting an average amount of sleep, as much as usual. I'm not sure what you mean by my intestine, but I do have a daily poop... But you're right that I shouldn't be stressing over this. It's just a bit disappointing

To be honest you're not steadily gaining weight, it's only been 2 days ;-) You are with 5 lbs of your goal weight, which means in the big picture that you are at goal weight. Minor fluctuations will happen. Now that you are at goal weight you can let go of daily weigh in and relax! (Unless you have to make weight for a competition and that's a different story). Your body finds its balance and it's ok to be at a different weight every day!

Look for NSV, and don't always count the scale as gospel.I did not loose a single OZ in 2 months by my scale ( LIL LIAR) and followed my diet to the letter, But I did find my clothes fitting loose, and belt loops going down, then one day the scale actually moved down, Sometimes you need to Tweek things to keep them moving !! Good Luck !!

Probably the muscle you are building. Persevere and you will see it drop but it does take time.
