LSG, I've been through something similar with my eldest. It's rightly all-consuming, so just remember to be extra kind to yourself. It's frightening but boy, what a relief when they come home....and it WILL get better in the days ahead. ❤❤❤

Personally I think it’s ok to have a treat meal like this occasionally. My downfall is Mexican and our fav place has no idea on calories so I have to guess based on if I made it at home. Then I double it lol. Some days we need to celebrate the special things in life and in our society that means food :). Glad you had a nice evening!

So very glad you son is doing well... Happy Anniversary!, and Remember to get back on track as soon as possible....Please don't take this wrong ---perhaps some of your eating tonight may have been subconscious stress eating....and the fact that Italian food is always a comfort type food!!! I know as my wife is italian and always makes more than necessary ......it runs in the her family for some reason as they can typically feed an army!
