Just starting a keto diet. How I miss coca-cola and bread. I don't miss Reese's as much as I miss biscuits and gravy. But I will make it to my goal weight, so that I can bend over and shave my legs in the shower.

Try Nestle Splash, Gives you the option of something to drink that has flavor but still okay on Keto.

I'm starting too! Here's some recipes I'm keeping handy- there's a bread recipe that looks great- bread is my biggest temptation. They make sugar free Reese's. They are good enough to fool a person who wouldn't eat sugar free (1 or 2 carbs per serving after sa and fiber deducted) The texture is slightly off but not by much. They are my go to snack when I'm craving something. My next "cheat" day will have biscuits and gravy, one of my favs.

Welcome to Keto eating. No need to wait for a "cheat" day. There are lots of Keto biscuits and gravy recipes out there - just google it. Thank goodness for the internet . . . how much harder it would be if we couldn't find these satisfying substitutes. If you're missing bread, try the recipe for Fathead dough bagels. In fact, the fathead dough base makes lots of "bready" things (pizza crust to breakfast danish) and it's quick and easy, too!

Have you tried the Bai coconut waters? They replace cokes for me effortlessly. Also, majans bhuja crunchy seasoned peas are great snack. I’ve lost 20 lbs and have 20 to go. Zumba also is great! Hope that helps on your journey!

I’m also starting the Keto diet... What are you eating ? Are you fasting during an intermittent window! 16:8?? I apologize for all the questions but I just want to make sure I’m on the right track.. lol.. Plus, I second guess everything loll

I've been keto-ing since July and I seldom feel deprived enough to cheat! I do indulge in the occasional Diet Coke. My 'cheat' snack is a square of Lily no sugar chocolate. Halladg: not everyone does IF. I just eat when I'm hungry; I find that way I don't overeat and that helps with the 'deprived' feelings, as well.

Welcome to Keto WOE! It's an adjustment but well worth it. I have been Keto for over 7 months and love how I feel.

Thank you everyone! I’m just ending my first week and there are still adjustments. I’m living on meat, eggs, and veggies. Lots of water. Breakfast (egg muffins). No lunch. Meat and veggies for dinner. I am going to experiment with bread recipes tomorrow! Fathead dough is definitely on the list!
