Never thought about putting ranch on sardines. My go to is usually Texas Pete or yellow mustard. Yours looks better :)

Glad you enjoyed your meal. When my kids were little we hiked a lot. They loved their sardines w/cheese and crackers. Not me... LOL!

sorry, bill I cannot do sardines. My Dad used to saute those and kipper snacks in butter and eat them on crackers. If you like them would probably make a good meal.
