"Carbquik Korner":
After drying the OK-but-not-great Carbquik noodles, The texture improved a bit to the point where I am vaguely reminded of my Grandmother's noodles. Well, like the way Diet Coke reminds one of Real Coca-Cola, rather than the way Coke Zero REALLY reminds one of Coca-Cola.
A really good thing about the OK-but-not-great Carbquik noodles was that they were OK-but-not-great. That helped a bit with portion control.
But the best part was that, as I had the first bites, I didn't get the Carb rush that makes me hungrier than before I started.
***I can usually put away a LOT of pasta, so not going into a feeding-frenzy was wonderful--to the point that I literally had tears in my eyes!***
