Not frustrated at all. 398.52 grams of carbs over the weekend was fun. Weight coming back down after surging up 4 lbs ((water retention)) My KETO peeps are probably wondering and want to ask "Was it worth it?"

Yes.

I've logged every bite since the beginning of the month. WIN
I consumed under 23 grams of carbs yesterday when my avg daily carbs were 78. WIN
I have body aches for no apparent reasons but I still manage to walk 1/2 hr most days and run like I stole it ((H.I.I.T)) here and there. WIN

You are a total sum of all your thoughts and actions.

Expect a weigh in from me this week an you will understand the madness I put myself through.

I own "The complete guide to Fasting, The Obesity Code, Why we get Fat and What to do about it, Fat for Fuel" -- I have no excuses, just working on proving beyond a reasonable doubt for my self, that you can't fight results.

Thanks Warriors who paved the way for me. I am on my way.

You are a candid, honest, person. We all deserve, considering what we have been through, the dignity of choice. That choice , to me, (you have proved it) is the very essence of Keto. KCKO, my friend.

When I eat too many carbs (starch/sugar/wheat) I get sore joints - that can be your body aches.

You're probably one of the most self-aware individuals I've ran into - kudos!

Funny, I had a big carb day yesterday. My husband came home and asked me what I had for dinner....I told him a piece of toast....it was what I needed when I got home. I knew I would eat 15 things which would not satisfy before I eventually had the toast! Seems that I survived, nothing beats some toasted gluten!! :) Today, I am back on track. Will hit the gym on the way home....we have to live too, no?

@T8U9 And Ches. I am not sure what a "carb up" weekend or choice is...?

Thanks all. I ended the day well with a 3.08 mile jog (let's call it a 5K) in 34:14 immediately after dinner.

Chiming in here on one more thing to add to your list to be grateful for 😉--that you CAN carb up, which is awesome. Twice in 10 months I accidentally ate over in carbs- and we are talking still under 100 carbs-and I was physically ill with what I would describe as a *massive* hangover the next day. It was horrible and I didn't have a drop of alcohol. So that's very cool that you can let loose in a controlled, planned manner and then just get back to business when play time is over. I was diagnosed pre-diabetic last year and I found out the hard way that I probably won't be able to successfully swing from very low carb to cheat days and back. Its very cool that you can! 👍😊
