Humming along today. Still have stuff to do on my list. Am somewhat optimistic but I hear an echo of the negative...
"Why bother...why bother?" in my head. Right now I answer.."Why NOT bother...if not now ...when? " So I am here verbalizing this crazy head talk. And staying Keto.

I have a physical coming up this afternoon so that my doctor can tell me exactly "Why Bother." I'm going to ask him to scare me straight.

LOL! Scared straight ...that's the ticket. Thanks for that!

Why bother: for me going keto brought: 80 lbs weight loss, cured depression, cured fibromyalgia, arthritic joints and tinnitis; lowered blood pressure, cured anxiety, better social relationships, more happiness, much improved sleep apnea, better energy and mobility; growing younger. And I'm not done yet. It continues to be worth bothering!

Doubts creep in. But stick with it. It works. I'm 60 lbs down. At just over three months. Skating, gardening, playing ball hockey with the kids again, long treks to good fishing holes are back in the picture, back to decent size pants and shirts that fit, taking a load of pressure off of my knees for future mobility, much lower chance of death from all causes. There are many reasons to pursue weight loss with great determination. You just need to find your reasons. I understand, it's easy to say "maybe some other time", but really, why not now?
