TODAYS PLAN 30 MILE RIDE..goood tuesday morning.. have a challenge on zwift to complete by sunday..have done the 3 other stages of it..an this is the last stage of the challenge..50km or 31.2 miles ..my friend that comes over to use the trainer did it yesterday..took him 2 hours to complete..will take me longer as im not as strong a rider as he is..im figuring it will take 30 minutes longer...hopefully..he burned 880 calories..im hoping for more..lol..we will see...

took yesterday off from riding..went to walmart an picked up 5-6 things, then had financial meeting..came home an cut grass again..been cutting it every 4 days so i dont have to rake it..growing season for grass..grows extremely fast till about july or aug..then it slows down..

been using protein again to get calories up on days i ride..talked to my nutritionist ..told her my plan of adding protein on days i ride..which shes been trying to get me to do for some time..we texted back an forth..she said to try it for 10 days an see what happens..i have trouble with the extra calories cause other then riding i dont get any other form of exercise to burn off calories..i might on a high day get 45 min of walking in..just around house or outside..other then that..i dont have an active day..so eating more then i should just doesnt happen..what i put in my food journal is what i eat..no more..if i eat less..i go back in the next day an subtract it..if i eat more i do the same..i keep track of what i eat..as thats my way of charting my progress..and on all my food i have added my food instead of using the database cause i want it to be as accurate as i can get it..

well coffee is gone..need to make muffins for rest of week..then around noon gonna get on bike/trainer an get my 31.2 miles in..be my longest ride ive done..quite an accomplishment for me..but one im looking forward to..just means along time on the bike..something im not looking forward to..but i can get off bike anytime i want an stretch or get a refill of water or whatever i need..so looking forward to ride today..

2 hours on a stationary bike is tough. I recommend downloading or streaming a good movie onto your phone or using a DVD player. Most movies are 1.5 to 2 hours and by the time it's done you've almost finished your ride without knowing it. I watched SPECTRE last week on a stationary bike due to outdoor rain and found myself unknowingly raising my cadence up during chase or fight scenes. Any action movie will work (even old Rocky movies or Top Gun) to keep you pedaling strong. Good luck and good job so far!

i use zwift along with my rode bike thats on a kinetic trainer..

My you are doing awesome! I used to drink a blender protein shake after running 3 - 5 miles. I would always have a fruit added in for more flavor. It really helped me carry on for the rest of the day. Now that I have fallen arches, no more running for me. You have inspired me today to dust off the elliptical machine again. Thanks.

31.2 mi...2:48:20 time...591 ft in elevation..il tuckered out to say teh least..just got my protein shake in me an my salad..rest is in my future rest of the day...
