I have been trying so hard to lose this weight. My Hubs is so supportive, he jumped on the weight-loss wagon too. We both weigh every day and work hard to make the right meals. My exercise is every-other day on the treadmill and the bike. He weighs approx 10# less than me and that alone is embarrassing. He is taller than me, his exercise is walking his home-made track outside, but it hasn't always been this way. When we first began dating...HE weighed more than me!...I was actually slim then! Just last week we observed our 35th wedding anniversary, and it was a stormy day (ice storm). I had been so excited a few months ago...I wanted to be at my goal weight by our anniversary, have our friend take pictures and go out for supper. None of that happened. :(
Because I have not even gotten close to goal, I have lost most of my spunk. I'm taking medication for the neuropathy in my legs and feet (I'm NOT diabetic) plus other meds and suppliments...it drives me crazy! I can't get the loss of my son out of my mind, it's been 6 months now. God help me.....I sound whiny.

Why would 6 months be enough to get over the loss of your son? Grief takes it's time and is unique in every person. I am sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. Grief has no time limit. Surround yourself with support. Self care is important so try to take one day at a time, and be forgiving of yourself. You can do this, just keeping moving forward.
