First day of "weigh in all weekend". I did better at dinner than I would have knowing I was going to weigh in this morning. BUT I ate those darn wasabi almonds late last night. AND since it was cheaper to buy the BIG bag instead of the little packets....well, you KNOW what happens! They are soooo good....

Tonight we are going to a movie. NO popcorn. NO delicious hot salty buttery popcorn...
Good grief, can someone just sew my mouth shut?!?!?!

Hypnosis just popped into my head. Has anyone tried it? I see ads sometimes and wonder about it....

Anyway, I will take my 1 lb gain and know that it is from the saltiness of supper and the nuts. I will drink drink drink water AND hope it is gone tomorrow...

My aunt tried hypnosis to stop smoking. He gave her a suggestion that she'd taste orange when she thought of smoking (which she absolutely hated). Now she loves oranges and still smokes.

Great pic there, Rckc! Funny, I used to have a squirrel walk into my classroom to be fed all the time. Always had peanuts for him.

Check out this book-it's free on Kindle and very helpful at controlling our dinosaur brain cravings. http://neverbingeagain.com/index.php/main/book

Love the pic when we lived in Maryland we had a squirrel that came up to our patio door for nuts the cat loved watching him. The weight is probably from the salt.

That's the downside of a nut addiction. You can't just settle for a couple when the whole darn container is just an arm's length away.

Hypnosis can be a powerful tool, but it is not for everyone! Some people can use generic audio files from the internet/online, others only respond to real life sessions. Really it's all about opening yourself up and trusting your mind with another person, only break down your barriers with someone you trust and are comfortable with~ Personally, I have tried multiple hypnosis sessions ranging from anxiety, to sleep aids, to confidence building and weight loss. When I am relaxed, in the right mind set, I do find it helps at least for a few days afterwards, who knows what the effect would be if I did the sessions regularly :)

LOL@flamingopmc! I tried hypnosis to quit smoking. After the session we had a cassette tape (telling my age) to take home and we had to play that in the morning before we got up. I did this two days ... the third day I forgot to play the tape ... and ... OMG ... I almost killed one of the ladies in the office for a cigarette. I finally quite 5 years ago taking Chantix.
