thanks to you all for the supportive comments and private messages...

the pain clinic doctor was really pleased with my progress, is booking me for theatre for a nerve block

i chased up my physio really politely.. they lost my referral..and was still no 53 on the waiting list, another 5-6 weeks

i got a copy of the referral and all my relevant medical history from the consultant and didn't waited for an hour.. they gave me a cancellation for tomorrow.. being nice pays off :) :)

then i went to cook dinner and realised the kids had turned the fridge down by accident.. had to throw my chicken breasts/salmon/cold meats

so, i had a small portion of the macaroni cheese id cooked for the kids.. neither lowfat or lowcarb, but unavoidable

so,, still 179 lbs, but i have a plan, based on all the helpful advice ive been given

clean out my fridge, throw away anything unhelpful-jams/lemon curd etc

plan my meals-using fs to calculate values of planned foods before i eat/buy them, especially when eating new foods

plenty of water, minimal skimmed milk with my decaff tea, no diet drinks

more protein to keep me full, another 5.5 weeks of 800kcals/day to go

lower carbs.. gonna try the roasted radishes i saw on here

try to keep as active as i can

seeing gp on thursday, to discuss how i can decrease risk of further debilitating cellulitis

getting new orthotic insoles on thursday to help with pain in my hips and knees-hopefully this will improve my posture and stop me falling as much

today is a new day.. need to break my 179lbs plateau and I AM DETERMINED!!

have a great day fs friends :) x

So pleased the day ended up being better than you'd hoped for. Good luck with your appointment tomorrow.

I'm glad the clinic doctor was pleased, and so sorry to hear about the lovely meats you had to toss! I think upping protein will really help with your hunger (and your body needs it!), and that coming up with creative and yummy new ways to use veg is a great strategy. Keep at it, good luck! :)

I saw a post about roasted radishes and I was thinking about trying that myself. You are doing great especially with all you have to deal with. Too bad about the meat. :(
