Funmon's Journal, 09 December 2016

I have been stuck at 259 for three weeks now. It's getting frustrating. I am starting to celebrate too early. I had some good discipline but I can't seem to get it back. My diet was nothing but water rice and beans. Then the holidays started and I have only been maintaining. I have started running again. i think my left lung is damaged. I can't seem to get enough air. It isn't smooth running either. I weeze when I run and it doesn't sound very good. However, I am also lifting some weights in my legs and doing sit ups. I feel like I am getting a lot stronger. It feels good. I even went out and started playing basketball again. i was surprised I could even keep up. I only scored a basket, but it was a great feeling. We didn't win but the feeling to be a part of organized sports felt good.

Hang in there!!! You can do this, but I think everyone would crumble if they tried to live on water rice and beans!!! You need a bit of nutritional variety :)

Plateaus happen, unfortunately. I agree with Schmetterlinge though - very few people could manage on such a small range of foods for long. Great that you're getting involved in sports you enjoy though. It makes them far less like a chore

I would suggest skipping the rice,drastically reducing carbs, and eliminating butter and added oils and minimizing animal fat. Low carb works with less hunger, and there is no reason not to cut out a few fats where feasible.
