Slow and steady- my mantra as I approach my new goal weight of 145. It really has taken me a lot of monitoring and reflection to understand more deeply about my body. Like an old VW running on the new ethanol laced fuels- my body runs bad, cranky if I am not on food that is 'real', unprocessed. A regular regimen of raw greens every day is the key. So a 3 cup salad with a lite dressing. A lot of times I dress with a flavored rice vinegar.
I am also Pro-pro-pro biotics. Fermented foods are necessary. So that means pickles and Tbeer, wine and cheese, gin. But seriously anything vinegar-soaked. I won't even begin - look up for yourselves the benefits of fermented foods.
So getting back on track, talking about the weight loss. I am down a pound since my last weigh in. Eating conscientiously, but liberally AND doing yoga 3-5 days a week. Surely I am gaining muscle. I'm feeling very strong, especially riding my bike and just in my entire posture. The body is transforming, I can see. The belly fat is getting smaller (it's the last to dissolve, as I have been told). My bra is still fitting. That is how I say that, unlike my last weight loss, the breasts depleted. Not sure why they are maintaining this time. I'm just hoping these last 4 pounds will come from the belly ! Best wishes for inches off!
149.4 lb Lost so far: 35.6 lb.    Still to go: 4.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
