I started a keto diet yesterday.. been walking 4 k each morning, in the dark and rain... this scale has to start being nicer to me.
249.6 lb Lost so far: 51.4 lb.    Still to go: 74.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

you don't lose fat on the keto diet, you lose water and protein. please eat at least 130g of carbs each day to spare protein loss

Low carb and healthy fats to get your body into fat burning mode. I do not eat pasta, rice, potatoes, bread, refined sugar, and very little fruit. Meat and veggies are my staples. I keep my carbs under 20 net per day and have for over a year now. Down 90 lbs. I am happy and healthy.

You go Rhontique! I agree (at least the last 8 months of my NEW life), my goal is under 50 (20 optimal) and am down 90+ lbs. also! KETO ON!

If I ate 130 carbs a day I would gain weight .. I usually do pretty good doing a keto sort of eating plan... thanks for the advice though.
