Let's DO it! I'll be dining at the Brazilian steak house Sunday night. That should keep me full for 3-4 days...LOL!

I have a question...I'd like to join the challenge...I usually save my eating for dinner anyway...I usually have coffee for breakfast and just liquids (water and 1 cup of kefir) for lunch, then eat a sensible dinner...would this satisfy the Beast mode challenge?

I think you have to login on the computer to join challenges Wannab. I use computer at work to see pics and challenge stuff I can't do on the phone.

Does this mean I have to eat my 88% chocolate right after my dinner? Is a snack considered a small meal?

@lulani - As always, we all have to do what works best for us. If you're doing LCHF, you may find that the Kefir sends you over your daily carb count. Kefir is food, so it counts as a meal, not as fasting. The only thing allowed in the Beast Mode is a pure fat snack like Bullet Proof coffee, or heavy whipping cream in your hot drink. Beast Mode means no carbs or protein outside of the one eating window, and preferably nothing else but water (with electrolyte balancing), but a buttet proof coffee in the AM is OK if it helps you get through your fasting. I did that in the mornings and then gave myself a 2-3 hour eating window which included a snack and dinner . Other people ate their one meal at breakfast or lunch. Experiment and see what works best in your daily routine.

@ LadyinDenim - or perhaps before as you are getting ready to cook. I like to eat a little something when I get home from work and get the meal ready. Today it was salami and cheese and I had a little dark chocolate after my steak and salad -- so satisfying!

Erica, I'm trying to get ready for this challenge. Today I had two mugs of coffee with 1 tbs. of cream when I first got up but didn't eat anything until mid-afternoon. Is that cream first thing in the morning too much? The good thing is that I wasn't hungry until 2:00 so it all worked well and I hadn't eaten since lunch yesterday before that so this might really help me get over the slump I've been in.

Thanks for defining the parameters of Beast Mode...I understand...I do enjoy fasting...and am a friend to Bulletproof coffee...thanks again!

I'm at a week and a half on plan, I don't think I'm ready for this. Wishing everyone else the best of luck, though :)

PhillySue- That sounds perfect! - and like it really works for you. I use 2 TBS of heavy whipping cream in 16 oz to-go cups and use as much or as little of it as I need to keep from being hungry. It works for me! Plus I mix up a quart jar of citrus water and take that along as well. That's a gallon of liquid (after my morning mug at home) to keep me full and satisfied all day. It works for me. Then when I get home I have a little snack, walk the dog, cook and have my main meal several hours before bed time. Keep in touch on what's working for you!

I would have joined you all but am now in the midst of making a macro change and eating differently. I am trying it for a while to see how it goes - but I will cheer you all along the way!
