Last year when my hubby and I started lc/hf, we rocked it. I slowly fell off the wagon when my birthday hit. I made the grave mistake of, it's my birthday, I'm allowed a splurge. No, just no. Here I am almost a year later (my b-day is in a week & half) & I gained back 30 of what I lost.
I've been trying the last few months to get back to it & for some reason, I"m really struggling to. I have no idea why. I know I can do it. I know I felt way WAY better when doing it. But here I sit, up another 3 pounds & kicking myself. No more excuses!
I am happy to say, that I decided to start a 30 day water challenge. The only allowed beverage is water. I started yesterday & have not had anything but water since I woke yesterday. That's huge for me since I'm a diet soda drinker like no other. Let this be my kick in the pants to get the ball rolling in the right direction!

Every time I did a low carb plan, I slipped and gained it all back and more. Getting restarted 3 different times, became exponentially harder in my mind. Maybe if you're looking for a way back in, try IF. I do the 5:2 and I think someone could kickstart things that way and once you're rolling, morph into the LCHF pretty easily. Good luck!
