I suck. I didnt stay on track yesterday. For some reason when I got to work yesterday I was starving9 maybe bc of my workout ? ) . SO I had granola and yogurt and a banana. It could have been worse Im sure but Im still not happy with myself. SO I went to the store and bought even more stuff. I dont know why I was so hungry. I had breakfast and a good one.. I just need to keep on working on tweaking it out and I need to make myself a schedule. And have more healthy fats and protein And stop cheating. Thats number one on my list. Other than the diet I met all my goals so I know I can do it. Im not giving up..not yet. Have a great day every one !

As long as you stay away from highly processed foods and watch your calories you'll do fine. It could be you have "diet fatigue" and want more variety. I say experiment and see what you can live with more than following any specific program as long as you can keep calories in check. Good luck!

You do NOT suck!! We're all human and fail sometimes. You just start new and try to do better.

IDK, maybe you should eat after your workout instead of before. Maybe not practical? I see arguments on both sides for whether to eat before or after a workout. Anyone who has lost 116 lbs could not possibly "suck," certainly not in my book!

tracin64 I eat after my work out and usually Im fine.. I was starving yesterday after mine for some reason.. Today I made a larger breakfast and it went much better.. so far...

Redgirl you definitely do not suck. Be proud of yourself for how far you have come. Get back up, brush yourself off. Yesterday is gone and today is a new day.

You've lost so much weight that I'm sure you know just what to do. You're the expert. You just got off track. Stay focused for a few days to get back in the groove and it will all be easier once you get settled again.

Sugar. Sugar is why you're so hungry. It's a great rush at first, but it's fast and quickly depleted. Tropical fruits are loaded with fructose, which your body is programmed to crave. Cut them out of your diet, and reap the rewards.

Perhaps be sure you have healthy fats and protein after workout and before you leave for the office. I also agree with Catherder - perhaps count calories for a while and allow some of the things you like - as long as you have a calorie deficit, you can lose. You may be feeling deprived so you are "cheating" - I say it is about choices rather than cheating. Mskestrela also has a good point of how sugar (yogurt and banana) makes us crave more...I am here for you!

Great advice everyone !

I'd just add it may be worth a week at maintenance just to get the whole system recharged. We can get so focused on losing weight that we don't ensure our body's endocrine system is restored. 25 cents worth.

(Jeez, that used to be worth something.) :)

NM... I tho't it was 2cents worth? Guess I'm older than you.. Will 2cent buy anything? Geez.. will 25cents? not much for sure?! It'll get there Andee.. Don't be so hard on yourself..

2 bits in Canada. That's 25 cents. It's probably the difference in currency.
27 Jul 16 by member: northernmusician
Not 2 bits. It's 25 cent here, too. "Shave and a haircut..2 bits" (a very old song) 2cents= 2 pennies..

Ah. Oh well. Live and learn, with a little luck.
