Thanks all. Pam u got this it is so worth it. I'm kinda stressing now and think just smoke but so far so good. My dh has stopped as well for one week now. Yeah :-) well he went to an e cig but still better than those smokes. He says he feels better too.

I was thinking about trying the e cig to transition to becoming a non-smoker. Let me know how that goes! I'm just so scared I will suffer setbacks in my new way of eating as well as any efforts in non-smoking if I take on more than I can handle at once. E cigs might be just the right tool ;)

Congratulations, Misty! Way to go!! For me, the secret to not giving in during stressful periods was to find something physical to do, preferably something that involved the use of my hands, for at least 15 min. That was time enough for the worst of the craving to pass. Cooking was good, or washing dishes -- something that was difficult to do and smoke at the same time. Keep up the good work!!

Wow, great job there, Misty! I bet you are noticing some health, and just positive feelings related to your dropping the cancer sticks. I guarantee it will make a big difference for you. Vegas, baby! lol

Congrats on 29 days, it gets easier every day you don't smoke and the cravings grow farther apart as time passes.
