On May 25 my diary stated that I was refocusing my weight loss efforts. Today I am down to 170+, but very near to my short term goal of being in the 160s range. Another two days should find me there.
For Memorial Day my son fixed hamburgers and potato salad along with our long time favorite, cucumbers in sour cream. It was yummy and I had a measured amount and still ate enough not to be hungry but still lose weight. Yesterday I fixed hamburger on the outdoor grill and served that with my favorite, asparagus, and had half an ear of corn. All of these meals were what I would normally consume on this holiday but without bread. So looking forward to tipping the scales at 169 soon.
170.8 lb Lost so far: 2.2 lb.    Still to go: 35.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
