There's so much work I want to do with my body, it can seem daunting at times. But first thing is first: I will lose 100lbs.
There's no question in my mind. I have the tools, resources, and most importantly, I understand my own body more each day. I want it bad enough. I've been doing so well with it. The hardest part is the loneliness.

After I lose 38.9 more pounds, I will finally treat myself to getting my hair done. Like I used to. Anyway I want, any color or colors, etc.

I think it's time I mapped out some more goals/rewards. It's been a dream to go on an ayahuasca retreat for awhile now. Soon I will feel more comfortable traveling.

Hey Wish, I am in the same boat as you are. I want to lose roughly 100lbs as well. I started Mar 25th and have lost roughly 12.75 as of last Friday. I weigh every Friday when i go to the gym. I dont think the scale is going to show any loss this week because of the way i have felt the last couple of days....bloated and just not any smaller. if it does, i will be very surprised. Yes the loneliness is a big part of my weight gain over the last several years. I am trying to deal with that as well. I will be here to support you in all that you do..

Hi Navymom, thanks for your kind words and congratulations on the 12.75 loss! That's some real progress. I understand what you mean about feeling bloated. Sometimes you just *feel* like you lost weight, etc. I hope when you weigh in you've lost a little something. Sending good vibes your way! <3 Stay strong.

Wishihad, I love your opening sentence. Not "I should lose 100 lbs", not "I want to lose 100 lbs". No, it is I WILL lose. I too have NO doubt you will do this. I hear the resolve in your voice. You are so powerful...and getting moreso every day.

changing old habits into new habits is the first step to a healthier you...and having a dog to walk is also a great way of keeping on track with creating a new habit of moving that body...you can do this....one step at a time...one day at a time...
