Could someone please educate me on how to get the percentage of food intake according to your RDI. I have tried to figure out how carbs may be 25% of the RDI. I have tried to do the calculations but i dont know how it is figured..

on average each gram of carbs is 4 calories. take total calories for the day and multiply by .25. divide that answer by 4 and you will get the total grams of carbs for the day.

I am PLANNING to buy a scale this weekend. So I can keep REAL track of my chicken intake. I have been eyeballing it myself. I just need to FIND one that's not crazy expensive.

@knuckles, the one i bought was roughly $20. it only weighs in oz and grams. it doesnt do the calorie count and all the bells and whistles..but that is ok with me. i just want it to weigh food.
