In the month or so that i have been on this FS Web site has brought me to the conclusion that this quote from Henry Ford often come to mind.

“Whether you think you can, or you think you can't--you're right.”

I have heard so many different approaches to weight loss my ears hurt...I am sure they are all good in there own little ways. But it brings the quote from Henry to life. When i came here i was in need of help which is information....the pros and cons of what was working.....i came with an open mind....willing to listen to both side of the story....We need to get outside of the box so we can think straight...25 years trying many diets only to gain each time.. as the saying goes "you can't see the forest for all the trees in your way"... i always said that weight loss has to start in your mind first...it not just saying you want to lose weight...every body wants to lose weight...it more than that....if your not convinced in your mind completely (100%) that is what you will do come hell or high water it will not happen...i hear people say that they want to try to diet....I believe in your mind you just set yourself up for failure. the word try just killed all hope for you...your sub concuss needs positive comments like i will lose the weight starting now....today as matter of fact from this moment on always speak positive....no more... i will try...hope this works....give it a shot....we will see how this goes...and so on. your mind has to be ready so tell yourself this time it's my choice to do this and succeed with correction along the way if needed for improvement in my weight loss journey....I'm not trying this time... I'm doing it...keep reading and studying along the way to better perfect and fine tune your weight loss... never stop and never give up... Many diets work so which ever one you choose do it in a positive manner... in my heart i want to see every body winning this weight loss battle...either way does not make you a lesser person....you will still be right.
