Was feeling fine yesterday until I had lunch at Moe's. It's my favorite lunch place and I haven't eaten there in months so I decided to treat myself. I didn't get my usual burrito; instead I opted for the gluten-free burrito bowl. I think all of the dairy (sour cream, queso dip and cheese) bloated me because I ended up skipping dinner since I was so full. I also woke up this morning feeling bloated and apparently have gained THREE pounds since yesterday. Unbelievable.
I also had some pudding made with cow's milk around 8 p.m., so I really did have a lot of dairy yesterday (compared to how much I've been consuming since starting this diet).
I wonder how much of my belly bloat is really from gluten, and how much is dairy-related. Going to cut out ALL dairy today and weigh in tomorrow to see.
Breakfast: • hot cocoa (1.5 cups cashew milk, 2.5 tablespoons Ghirardelli cocoa mix)
Lunch: • frittata (homemade, gluten-free & dairy-free) • made with 3 eggs, 1/2 cup of pancetta, 1 small yellow onion (cooked in the pancetta grease)]
Dinner: • beef stew, homemade (steak, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, beef broth cornstarch) • biscuits (gluten-free, homemade), 2 tablespoons of strawberry jam
Snack: • 1 cup of Smart Puffs • 1 dark chocolate square
