Personal note for Friday, July 31st:
Had a super busy day and only got one meal in, but I made it a goody. I know I planned to avoid sugar alcohols but seeing as it was a special day I decided to splurge a little.
Voortman wafer comes out to 3.66g net carbs per wafer due to the 7g sugar alcohols in it. I had 1 wafer. = 3.66g net carbs
Chapman's No Sugar Butter Pecan has 8g sugar alcohol. If I subtract those there are 2g net carbs per half cup. But there are 5g of (milk)sugar. So does that translate to 7g net carbs per half cup then? Ugh. I had a 1 cup serving. = 14g net carbs
14 + 3.66 + other carb counts for the day = 20.3g net carbs
Did not meet my protein goal. Oh well, try again tomorrow.
