Dieting sucks! Sick and tired of everyone saying it's not a diet but a lifestyle. Screw it. If you have to monitor your every bite/drink it's a diet.
Met with a friend who said his theory is that I've stopped by metabolism so he had me add calories. Ugh scale goes up but, it's s-l-o-w-l-y coming down. Hmmm maybe he had it right? Wish I could eat carbs when I want but his recommendation of just before my workout and just after my workout seems to have something. I don't know.
I'm just sick and tired of how slowly the scale has moved over the past 5 years when I'm surrounded by lots of friends with quick success doing similar diets and/or just having the weight loss surgery which I am no longer a candidate for. Guess that's a good thing?
Daily weigh in's show the slow progress but also when I slip, they keep me in check and make me get back on the wagon.
