Good morning out there you birthers of dreams & conquerors of fears. I hope this day finds you continuing to fight the good fight as we ascend the mountain this Fine Friday. Be focused & fierce this Friday, to not allow all the hard work you have put in this week be derailed by weekend activities or events. Stay tenacious my friends. Be determined to keep building a better you, every day. Set the tone for your climb to be the path a person in your life wants to follow. This peak we seek is not for the weak of spirit. We must strong for ourselves & to aid those who do slip on loose soil from time to time. If we do this, they will be there for us when our footing is not so secure as well. So let's get out there on the side of this mountain this fine morning & do what we do. Let's be a beacon of motivation. Let's be the positivity we want to see in others. Let's be driven to be peak seekers & deliver ourselves from the burdens we are now casting off down this mountain side. Let's breathe in this mountain air & exhale inspiration all up & down the sides of the cliffs. To the top gang!!! To the top!!!

Brother you must feel like your starving? Been there. Try oatmeal it will help fill you while not killing you with calories. I took a look at your intake and you should make some vegitable soup and that too is little calories. You might try adding a little meat to it for starters...I notices as well you are starting to taper off on weight loss...drink lots and lots of water...tea...etc....good luck..

Yes--we are going to get to the top. I hear it's a beautiful view and you breathe better. I can't wait! We are all in this together. It's no fun being at the top alone--we are all doing this together!

Thanks for the tips Gene. I have had a couple slow weeks on the Idiot Box, but I was attributing that to leveling off after such a fast start. I really haven't felt hungry though. I didn't even break 1,000 calories yesterday & was not hungry. I was so far off course in my life when I started, I always snacked on something, for no reason in particular; but my regular meals were never really that bad as far as quantity of food. The quality could have been a whole lot better, but it was what I ate in between meals that was the major issue. I have broken that snack addiction & on most days, I don't have an issue staying under 2,000 calories; & should actually be eating a little more. I do however consume a lot of water, probably a gallon a day at a minimum. At work I usually consume 20 ounces every couple hours, & most days I work 10 to 11 hours.

As I read your email today, I was struck with the image of shedding the unwanted bits and emerging at the top of the mountain as only the best parts of me. Keep climbing, brother.

Since we have a Tenacious Tuesday & a Throwback Thursday; maybe we can add a Focused & Fierce Friday, to keep people mindful of their goals over the weekends? I know it sounds corny; but if it works, it works.
