Well I need to vent..long story short

My BMW hit a pot hole. Pot hole ruined my car. Brought the car to BMW to be fixed. There is $8,000 in damages. At first my insurance said they would not cover it. My family and I are freaking out. All day yesterday I was on and off the phone about my car, with insurance and figuring out a loner car. I felt like I barely did work at work all day...
I come to find that the insurance laws changed and they cover pot holes. Good news I only pay $500. Bad news. It snowed. The BMW dealership uses a cab service I called them to pick me up to bring me to the loner car place so pick up a loner car. It was 5:30 and the cab company never answers. I call back BMW freaking out because if I cannot make it to the loner car company before 6, they close and I cannot get home. Finally BMW had someone pick me up from their dealership and brought me JUST in time to the loner car place. there is like 4-5inches of snow now. I still have to cross the bridge. The only car they had left was a front wheel drive MINI VAN. I wanted to die. I hate mini vans and I cant stand how bad Mini van drivers are. I just wanted to hit something. I was so stressed out from the whole day. Now I had to take this stupid mini van..over the bridge in 5 inches of snow. Took me 2 and 1/2 hours to get home..........all I can say was if I didn't have my boyfriend home who made me a great dinner when I arrived. I would of been punching my walls... LOL yes stress makes me angry... I figured I might start training in boxing and MMA because it will give me an insane workout, my boyfriend will do it with me, and it will help me with stress from work and daily life. I am signing us up for a free trial class tomorrow. I really need to let this steam off. I am currently at my boyfriend's for the next week or so, and I have no gym to work out at. Working out helps me get rid of stress. So if I sing up with this MMA gym, I will have a place to workout and take classes at when I am staying at my boyfriends. For now...a spoon of peanut butter and a piece of dark chocolate seem to be helping while I figure out my gym siutation

NO WAY am I even looking at Ronda Rousy. As much as I appreciate her as an athlete...I do not want my body to look like hers..i Like my curves. But I do want to learn self defense, Its a great way to workout without doing typical gym routines. Thanks Summer..I tried to take a walk this morning around the neighborhood but it was so slushy my shoes got wet =(

Haha Glen, I love your story. I do have a bag but it will have to be hung outside under our deck. It is snowing like crazy which is why I havn't been getting my best workouts in. The other day I went running in like 2 degree weather because I couldn't take not working out. But I don't plant on living in the tri-state area forever. Life is too short and I am too young to stay in one place my whole life. But back to the bag...Its not so much I need to consitantly punch a bag, but in general working out helps me distress and while I am stuck at my boyfriends during the horrible weather, I don't have a gym. I have a pair of 12 lb weights, and old stationary bike and some ankle weights. I can do at home workouts but I rather be in a gym setting-keeps me motivated. Anyway I can relate to the annoying co worker, I have one currently... the bosses daughter... She is so spoiled but hey. You will only move forward if you keep working hard and keep your feelings to yourself

Thanks guys!! Yes I love my car :) When your stuck with a horrible loner car for a week you start to really appreciate the care you have and how much you miss it.. (I make it sound like a friend) but its true. Cant take what you have for granted.

I HATE being without my car - a little black Mazda Miata convertible hardtop - I drive it all year because I have awesome snow tires!

I'm sorry about the car - awesome about the MMA training trial. I currently go to kickboxing/karate classes at my gym twice a week and also have previous karate experience and now I'm also going to Jiu-Jitsu classes twice a week. It's a great workout!
