Cardio is king. If you need to burn fat fast do 30 minutes of cardio 3-4 days per week. If 30 minutes is too much for one session, split it into 2 15 minute sessions. Cardio can be a fast paced walk, walking up and down stairs, or if you're up to it Google HIIT cardio. While you can lose weight by dieting alone, adding in cardio will accelerate it.

Brew up some green tea. Read about it , its a great metabolism booster and cheap. Just dont load up with sugar. :) it has helped me. I also slice lemons in a big pitcher of water... makes h2o exciting to drink

Good point Jend*. Since were on the subject, if you're into spicy foods, cayenne pepper and ginger root have both been found to help with metabolism. if you choose to use sauces that contain cayenne, just be aware of the other ingredients since a lot of wing sauces contain butter and sugar to enhance the flavor (but also add lots of calories). What it comes down to is most diet pills contain these things, caffeine, cayenne pepper, green tea extract, and other various ingredients that you can buy for super cheap and include in your diet without spending $30-$50 per bottle on pills that are really nothing but a gimmick.

Drinking a lot of water will help with your metabolism. Also weight training and replacing carbs with protein will help build muscle and speed up your metabolism.

Oh trust me I do. I go to the gym 5 days a week, plus run after kids and do for them 18 hours a day lol.
