weight has stayed the same for 3 weeks or more another plateau stopped loggin in my foods and calories counting according to skinny bitch vegan diet i can eat as much as i want as long as its vegan and not gain any weight according to this diet.
although i don't believe it i think you can overeat vegan foods and gain weight if you don't count calories well i'll let you know if it doesnt work (eat as much as you want and not count calories on a vegan diet) i hope it does not cause me to gain weight if i do start to gain weight then i will have to revert back to calorie counting and logging in my foods again a chore that i would love to give up!

i added peanuts, cashews, pistachios, pine nuts am afraid that they might cause weight gain just started a few days ago hope they don't ruin my weight loss plans, i'lll let you know as they are all vegan.

have only been eating a handful each day but noticed a slight increase in the body fat percentage readings hope body fat reading aren't on the increase.

Yes, you can gain weight on any plan if you overeat. But it would be a lot harder with fruits and vegetables. Good luck!

stopped counting calories but estimate i'm eating at least 2000-3000 vegan lowfat, high carb including sugar/ calories per day and havent gained a pound; so much for the anti carb theory as causing weight gain, i really believe that the cholesterol based foods/ animal proteins/dairy/eggs are really the cause of the weight gain, my diet has been for the past month mostly beans, rice, avocados tvp, vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, homemade high protein french bread with vital wheat gluten wheat germ, salads without the dressing, peanuts, pistachios, non fat cereals with non fat soy milk/soy protein powder tofu vegetable soup, steamed collard, kale, cashews, pistachios,

vegan spaghetti with olives, onions, garlic, tomato, parsley, v/8, zuchinnini, carrots, fresh basil, bay leaves, fresh lavender, marjoram, anise, celery. other foods staples of my diet, lots of fruit also for breakfast even the high calorie fruits everday for breakfast and didn't gain any weight on this vegan diet really believe that you can eat as much as you want and not gain weight on this vegan diet.

i put tvp or vital wheat gluten in my vegan spaghetti.

my surprise was that you can overeat vegan food as far as calories i'm eating 2000-3000 calories and not gaining any weight for the past month i'm shocked i think that eating as much as you want as long as its vegan gives you freedom to eat at home but trying to find vegan food in restaraunts is difficult.

my body fat percentages have stayed the same also around 10 percent even while eating nuts, avocados, sugar.

I was vegan for many years and I found I could still gain weight if the calories went too high. It's harder but still possible. Nuts can be the culprit, they are very high calorie and easy to lose track of portion sizes. Nuts and dried fruit always caused me to gain a little if I didnt pay attention. Just be mindful of how many total calories you are getting and you should be fine. Good luck!

you have to read food ingredients on processed foods because they contain a lot of milk and egg products for example, words like casein,natural flavor,albumin, cholesterol, are all not vegan.

i've limited my nut intake to around 1/4 to 1/3 cup per day and only one or 1/2 avocado per day and havent gained a pound while consuming 2000-3000 calories one day i ate 2 cups of raisins for a snack thats almost 1000 calories and didn't gain a pound. i also eat oatmeal with 5 tablespoons of sugar, and lowfat soy protein powder and not gained weight. i really believe the cholesterol, and saturated fats in animal based foods are really the cause of the weight gain.
