I gained about 15 pounds when I quit smoking earlier this year.

I hope to lose it and more in the upcoming year. Surely it will be easier now that I can breathe.

I quit smoking and I am now working on the the third month. My encourager's are saying I have it "licked" however, they don't understand how much I really want to light one up still. I have gained a bit of weight because of constant snacking (on healthy nuts, of course, I choose the kind of nuts that offer greatest calories!).

Good for you. Both great things for your health.

I have not smoked in over 40yrs, you can do it just set you mind to it. I loved to go jogging but it got very hard for me to breath so I had a choice to make and I chose to keep jogging. I gained over 20lbs when I 1st stopped and would eat all kinds of bad stuff. You hang in there you will be happy you did.

Thank you all. I don't want to call it a resolution but I have started in the new year trying to be conscious of my choices in food and activities. Thanks again.
