Trying to adhere to my "no cookies/cupcakes before 9am rule" but last night my co-worker and I had a craft night. We were up way past our bedtimes making christmas presents and cookies, and now the finished cookies are readily available, and I just want to eat them all. I have a feeling that between the cookies and the exhaustion, it may be a long day!

Happy Thursday!

Oh wow, I totally get how you feel! We had a food table at work the other day and I grabbed something every 20 minutes, no joke. I had cookies way before 9:00 am. I feel like I've totally messed up all I've worked so hard to achieve and can't seem to find my way back. I just ate a banana with some peanut butter and am craving more food - ugh. Plus, our scale broke the other day so I haven't been able to check my weight in a few days. It's bothering me as I need that discipline. Let's hope you and I both make it through today without consuming TOO MANY calories, be they in cookies or other treats.

It's that time of year and with so many temptations to crazily consume them. Sometimes we give in and lose control. I think the important thing is not to beat ourselves up, but to accept that we gave into the temptation, that we are human, and to just keep trying to move ahead and to get control of our eating problems. If we fall down one day we just have to try and pick ourselves up the next day and if we keep trying eventually it will get better. So forgive yourself and try to do better the next day Geralynb.

Keep in mind that a tired body will crave more carbs. You may want to take a nap.

Thanks everyone! The next few weeks are going to be super rough with food, but I'm not stressing too much. I've been good this year, I'm not gonna beat myself up too hard over a couple of breakfast cookies :)
