Seven hours of sleep and one hour drowsing while listening to podcasts.

Morning plank and ten minutes first thing in the morning on the Air Walk Trainer to burn off glycogen.

Today was an up day on the Alternate-Day Diet (eat all I want) because I've got food prepared. I decided to leave the slow cooker on low rather than waiting for it to cool and then putting it into the refrigerator, to save energy and avoid food going bad. I tried using chia seeds as an egg substitute. I wasn't able to grind the seeds any finer in the Nina Prep Pro than they already were. I may have better luck with the Krups coffee grinder. Breading the shrimp didn't work out so I just dumped them in the crock pot with the beans. I need to do more research on how to bread items since I've never done it before. I wonder if there are any videos on cooking techniques on Netflix or Amazon Prime.



I got a T-Fal yogurt maker as a part of my transition from processed to whole foods and as a reward for finally ending my procrastination and applying for Medicare. Heavier and bigger than I thought so I will probably put it on a step stool next to the electric outlet by the window. If I put it on the counter, I might end up jostling it and ruining the yogurt. I thought about making it in the oven, but I don't have any containers to use. I would have had to buy containers and the T-Fal has them. No starter included so I ordered starter culture, a cooking thermometer, and an oven thermometer to determine if the pilot gets the oven warm enough to make black garlic. Of course, I'm also running out of milk so I ordered 4.4 pounds of Carnation nonfat. That means I probably won't get started on yogurt making until Monday.

Cardio: one hour on the Air Walk Trainer plus five minutes every hour on the Air Walk Trainer to counter the effects of sitting. Steps: 1,037.

Fifteen minutes cleaning and organizing in the kitchen today. Total time to date: 4 hours, 15 minutes. Hope to get in more time in the future.
