Hang in there! Gave in a couple times this week and it wasn't worth it. Been fighting the craves all week after that. I can deal with the added calories, but I can't deal with how much more you crave those "bad foods" after you give in. Have yourself a healthy snack to try and shake the crave. You can do it, you've been doing great.

You are doing great! In my humble opinion and I know this sounds counter intuitive, but if you really really want that hamburger, plan for it. Keep under your RDI, don't eat the bun, leave off the mayo, and slowly enjoy your plain burger. Sometimes having a "treat" helps you stay on track for the long haul. Give yourself permission to enjoy without overindulging.

I've started getting the frozen veggie burgers, I think they're the Morningstar originals or something like that, but they're lower in sodium and calories than some other kinds, around 130 cal/burger I think. Anyway, been putting them on a Lavash bread wrap from Giant grocery store - the wrap is high protein and fiber, low carb - along with lettuce, fresh tomato, onion, sometimes some other veggies, along with mustard and maybe a small amount of mayo. The burgers are good, it's a pretty filling meal and tastes great. Satisfies the "I want a big burger" craving without going overboard on calories/carbs/fat.

A couple of large portobello mushroom caps make a great cheeseburger bun!

Take the top bun off a quarter pounder and eat it open face and it will only be 15 calories more than the Lean Cuisine pizza you had for dinner.
