At first i was getting ww points (29) confused with low carb (20)...then i got on track...been following pretty close but weight loss is not much. although i was up to 134...must not forget that i did not record t hat, but tht was about two weeks ago. seems it is really slow coming off. i think i should stay away from a lot of cheese and sugar free candy and stuff;;;high fat stuff like bologna anad hot dogs. and drink n=more water..not to mention exercise... seem like there isnt much left to eat tnen! niot sure...maybe i shou;d have just stuck to weight watchers so i could have fruit and stuff
230.8 lb Lost so far: 3.2 lb.    Still to go: 50.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Fat is your friend when it comes to Atkins! I have found the more I eat the more I lose. I think there are a lot of options when eating low carb, but I do think you are right that limiting sugar free candy and processed meats is a good idea. It's not the fat in those meats that is the problem- it's all the additives and hidden sugars. Cheese is perfectly fine and tasty, but you shouldn't exceed 4 oz per day. I often only have a couple of ounces. Water, fat, and veggies are very important!! I personally much prefer Atkins over WW, because it helps me control my cravings and lose more weight. And the concept makes sense to me. It's a matter of what works for your body, though. Everyone is different.
