Hey Buddies:

How is everyone? I had a bit of a crash the last few days...a little off-track birthday eating! Trying to increase the protein back up to where I want it to be and let go of the "wasted" carbs...

I am bouncing back though...something about turning 59 years of age is a little depressing for me. I suppose it is facing the big 6-0 next year.
I want to be smaller, more fit and lean. I guess that gives me another year to keep working, right?


I am dedicated, determined, and diligent!

Success isn't about falling, it's about getting back up and kicking some carbage to the curb. I'm sure you'll rock the 6-0; have a fabulous 59! (I'm not far behind you in age, and I keep getting back up and getting better each year)

Happy Birthday! Its ok to have a few days off, and then when you get going again, you feel all the more enthusiastic about weight loss. Be kind to yourself. I had a week of birthdays last month and I did indulge, because I am week willed. After putting on a kilo that week, I made up by losing 2 kilos in the following 2 weeks. Be proud, and remember that we are here if you need us. Have a great day!
