Good morning!

I slept GREAT! It's 9:30, and I just barely got out of bed. :)

The scale is angry at me, and I'm happy that Easter is almost over. It's been a few rough days, but I'm feeling great and I'm confident that I am going to do well onwards. It's good to know that I am fully armed with the tools needed to get out of the "post-easter-groove". :)

As a matter of fact, I decided to do a little "house cleaning" today.

I'm taking a fasting day, just to recalibrate my sense of hunger, and to get back on track.

The rules are simple. I didn't eat after 5:30 PM last night, and I won't eat until 5:30 PM tonight. Plain and simple. The meal tonight won't exceed 600 calories, and I will leave it at that.

"But what about the macros?"

Well, doing fasting days sends the macros out the window. It's a shame, because I really like counting macros. It gives me a well being beyond what I have had on any diet/weight maintenance system, and I absolutely love it.

However, today I won't follow it. I'll be back tomorrow. Today I just want to rid myself of food stored in my body, of fluid, of everything I can shed.

It's been fun days this Easter - also a reason I've been so quiet here on FS, but Easter is pretty much over. We have no plans today (other than me working out, walking and meeting with a client), so it's a great day to do it. I have things to occupy me, I have workouts and walks to do, and I slept late. It's a lot easier to do a fasting day when you sleep half the day away. :)

...

I still have open spots for more clients in my new weight loss business. I still see quite a bit of interest from people, and I know I will have more coming soon. I love getting new people going, and getting them started up. I love seeing how excited they are about their results.

What REALLY makes it interesting is that I get to meet people who are SO DIFFERENT!

It's so much fun and a great challenge when I get to coach in English. I love the fact that Skype is there for me - that we can simply meet on a computer, and it makes zero difference.

...

I finally got the website up and running properly too. It's all in Danish for now, but there WILL be an English version of it too. It's mostly a matter of working out how to have two of the same type of website without all the coding messing the websites up. I might have to put them completely separate, which I really want to avoid. I am a little afraid that it might confuse.

I'll find a solution soon.

If you're curious about the website, I made a google translation of it. It's not perfect, but it gives you the general idea.

Interesting, by the way, that it translates "kontakt" to "switch", and not "contact". You can do better than that, Google. :)

I really love the logo that Daughter designed. It's simple and clean, and says SO MUCH.

(LOSEWEIGHT - For life!)

...

So, today is an easy day. I actually think it will be somewhat a relief to NOT have to count macros today. It will be a "day off" from food altogether.

It's a welcome change from the feasts of Easter.

...

Today, I'm thankful for:
- Sleep!
- Wife!
- Coffee!
- Fasting!

Have a great day! Life is good!

I really like the fact that, on the website, you talk about being able to eat "normal" food. That is what has helped me - to discover you can really eat what you want as long as you measure and track it and hold yourself accountable. I can't claim I have all this figured out, and I find I still struggle now and then, but I find it's becoming less like a "diet" and more of a "way to live healthy".

Jwill, that is EXACTLY the point. As a matter of fact, I have had a good talk with two clients today, and they both "survived" Easter with a nice chunk of weight loss, and without them feeling that they missed out on ANYTHING. I love hearing these stories. Losing weight does NOT have to be a struggle.
