It's been a bit tougher today for some reason. The cravings have been hitting me hard but I have resisted. My motivation is still very high and I am excited about achieving my goals. Small steps...I keep telling myself, small steps. Each accomplish brings me closer to my goal. I know I can do this! Easter will be very trying for me...not only in the soda area since I will be around my family (all soda drinkers) but I need to be careful with my calorie intake since we will be having delicious BBQed turkey and yeah. It will put my willpower to the test and I hope I am strong enough to fight temptation!

Day 4 Summary
*Oil Pulling: I totally woke up late so I wasn't able to do this today. :(
It happens though. I stayed up a little too late last night lol!

*MIF-Cardio/Strength/Yoga (another source): Honestly, I am hoping to really kick this off next week. Again, I am not going to kick myself if I don't do this everyday but I will try my damnedest to accomplish this. If I can kick the soda habit...then I can achieve this as my next goal...especially if I want that 6 pack!

You can do it!!! Honestly, I was completely addicted to sweet tea and diet pepsi. When I decided to do this I knew they both had to go. Now drinking over a gal of water a day. Got a large regular shaped water bottle with press down top; fill and a few drops of MIO (or for me store brand) and I'm loving it. They even have soda flavors now....my son loves them and he's drinking more water too!! As far as Easter dinner...take a salad plate instead of a dinner plate...no seconds and no picking..Moderation for days like that!! Don't deny yourself just do it in moderation! I'm 6 1/2 weeks in and losing an average of 3.3 a week.

Ooh thank you so much for the idea! Yeah I am slowly getting my water intake up. I am drinking about 9-12 cups of water now and I have found that my appetite has decreased a lot. Makes me think that I have been dehydrated a lot without realizing it. I am just now getting reacquainted with my body and relearning to listen to those signs of hunger, thirst and such. I am going to look into the MIO mainly for my daughter because she needs to drink more water. I am afraid that if I do, I will get hooked on that taste and crave the actual soda again. :/

Then go for the fruit flavors....I use peach..berry...they have all kinds!! Walmart has a huge selection but any local grocery has MIO and at least their own brand!!! Just remember, your body needs water, but don't replace meals with it. There are no nutrients and if you drink like 2 big glasses then it's a false sense of full for a short time. I carry my water bottle with me EVERYWHERE!!! Sip all day long it's amazing how much your body needs when you hydrate properly! Sugar free salsa and cucumbers are my free foods...salsa makes everything taste amazing. I keep cucumbers chopped all the time in frig so I can snack on them. Also fudgcicles (one a day) is a healthy way to curb your sweets craving!!

And you are strong enough to fight temptation!!! If I can fight HOT KRISPY KREME donuts....and I did...then you can fight BBQ Turkey and all!! Not easy, but think about how hot you're gonna look!!

OMG! Fighting off Krispy Kreme must have been so hard! I guess I am king of lucky that there aren't any where I live. There used to be but they closed. And that is so my motivation..."Think of how hot you will be?" And "Think of that 6 pack you want so much!" Lol! Boxermomma64...thank you so much for the motivation! :)

Yea I could have killed my husband!!!! Krispy Kreme, Danish, Turnovers, etc. I was like WTH are you doing to me!!! This morning I caved and had a small bit of Danish...up .3 oz when I weighed in...teach me to eat a pc. of Danish again...LOL. You are most welcome!! We all need it!
