KimReed's Journal, 16 April 2014

Since going off Atkins I have been so much happier. I still watch my carbs (I have increased them) but not very much. I missed fruit!! A diet with minimal fruit seemed strange to ME!! My stomach was also so messed up when I was doing Atkins. It's still reversing itself I think, but hopefully will be back to normal soon. I read everyone's journal entries (or try to) and I am proud of all of us!! Have a great rest of the day!!

I think it's just one of those things that you won't know it til you try it. Adkin's is great at first because of the rapid lose in the beginning and getting to pig out on bacon ect., lolol... but in the end it was hard to NEVER EVER have any carb type foods again it what killed my Adkin's experience in the end. I'm glad you have found your happiness in what works for you!!! Your stomach should start digesting properly in about a weeks time, give/take a day depending on other factors of course. Have a great day Kim :)!!!

look into eatmore2weighless.com they have a lot of really good information of how you should actually be eating way more than you think to support your activity. never eat below BMR. also carbs are really needed to fuel your workouts so dont be afraid of them :)
