My favorite vegan dressing! Raw Ranch with broccoli florets. Whipped this up last night and put it in the frige to chill for lunch. Since I ate 2 cannoli's this morning I figured I should round that off with vegetables for lunch.

My ranch is very simple. For this particular batch I used 1 c raw cashews, juice of 1/2 lemon, 1 T garlic powder, 1 T dill weed, 1 T onion powder, 1 T dried parsley, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, and enough water to blend it to a smooth runny consistency. Refrigerated overnight and it was a little firm, so I stirred in some more lemon juice and water. Its just a tasting game, increase or reduce to your taste. I like heavy dill in mine. Gives it that hidden valley ranch taste

No sweetener in mine, btw. I don't use sugar or honey in raw recipes. Dates would be the only substitute if you desired to add a hint of sweetness.

I fixed this again tonight but didn't have lemon. So I used about a teaspoon of vinegar and it tasted more like buttermilk ranch. So now I'm sold on vinegar instead of 1/2 a lemon
