I actually did it this morning! I got up at 4:50 am and got a short but intense workout in. Won't have time tonight since my youngest has a chorus concert, and I was determined to get at least 3 days in. Hoping to get a fourth in on Sat.

I know! He's finishing up eighth grade. Can't believe he will be a freshman next year! He is getting taller by the day, too and loves to look down and kiss me on the nose, lol.

Woo hoo! I wish I could do morning workouts. I do on the weekend. Not enough time on the weekdays, with my long hair there would be no way to get it dry and commute in time.

Ugh is right Marsha! Most days getting out of bed is an intense workout, lol!! I only did it because I was determined to get my 3 days in this week and I knew I wouldn't have time this evening and Fridays at work do me in. It was a sheer act of will power for sure!

I have found for me, it's better not to eat first. I used to eat about an hour or so before working out. But I've noticed I seem to do better on an empty stomach. I feel it's more of a benefit as far as burning fat, too, because I haven't ingested anything for my body to burn, so it's forced to burn my fat reserves.

Congratulations on making yourself a great day like that. Take note of what and when you ate yesterday, to see if you can do a repeat.
