I am a married 64 year-old father of four boys. Up until eight years ago I could eat anything I wanted and not gain weight. Times have changed. I work out in the gym an average of 4 to 5 times a week - just to maintain reasonable muscle tone. I hate cardio on the treadmill and have foot problems so I can't jog. Instead I am taking up road biking - something I used to do a lot.
I am using the calorie-counting method to control my weight. It is the only thing that works for me. I am an engineer, so the calories-in minus calories-out equation makes perfects sense to me.
