| 1. | Unlimited non-starchy vegetables, fruits, and beans! Eat very large portions of these foods at meal times. Fill up on these high-quality foods. You will not get hungry or run out of energy before your next meal. Do not eat between meals. |
| 2. | Fill up on salads with oil-free dressings you can make at home or purchase at Whole Foods. Stir-fry veggies in water using a nonstick pan or steam them. |
| 3. | You may cook your unlimited veggies but are encouraged to eat 50% of them raw in the form of a salad. An entire head of romaine or other lettuce per day is the goal. |
| 4. | Eat up to 1 oz of nuts per day. One small serving of quality whole grains is allowed, i.e., 1 slice of whole grain bread, 1 oz of brown slow-cook rice, etc. Very small amounts of starchy vegetables like potatoes and corn are allowed. One small baked potato or serving of corn would be considered your one serving. |
| 5. | Drink at least 2 L of water per day. No soda or coffee. The worst of the detox will likely be from caffeine withdrawals, but you will get through it and feel better and clearer without it! Hang in there! |
| 6. | No low-nutrient, low-quality, processed foods are allowed on this diet. No meat except for occasional small portions of fish if desired. No dairy or eggs. This is a "nutritarian" diet designed with one purpose in mind: to give your body the most nutritional bang for it's buck without any foods that will negatively affect your body. This diet was created to cure the body of it's ailments and ward off preventable disease. It was designed to make you lean and strong, full of energy, and optimize your immunity, as nature intended. Your body is a machine, and this diet fills it with the most perfect, highest-quality fuel possible, and on it you will feel amazing. |
