lugojean's top tips

.Say yes to Fruits and Veggies -- You should have fruit/veggies at every meal! Same benefits as whole grains plus have tons of vitamins and minerals. This is the most important part of this diet. Eat as much as you want!
.Say yes to Whole Grains -- Also slowly digested by the body. Makes you feel full and will give you long lasting energy. Whole grains are good at preventing cancer, improving cholesterol, and improving heart health.
.Say yes to Protein -- Protein is digested slowly by the body so it keeps you full longer. It is also good for muscle rejuvenation. Try to incorporate some protein into every meal.
.Say no to Beef & Pork- very high in calories and cholesterol. This diet is also good for those who want to slowly move to a vegetarian lifestyle and/or want to lower
.Diet to be healthy, then to lose weight. Remind yourself of this often. You don't want to die early due to poor lifestyle choices.
.Don't just step on the scale, measure your waist. Ideally our waist should be 1/2 of our length in inches. Any more and we are more prone to heart related illnesses.
