FS calorie RDI's are high. Mine were over 1700 on FS. I set mine @ 1200 but mostly ate at 1000 average over a week. Even on maintenance there is no way I can eat that much and not gain weight back. ...

This is a good starting point, but you really need an exercise plan to maximize the results. Even if it is just walking. Get moving!
