Need to adjust my daily total of Nutrition Facts

Potassium is harder to monitor - you don't always have that info on food labels as it is not required by FDA. Google a list of high potassium foods and avoid them (bananas, tomatoes, potatoes, oranges, kiwi, pears, many juices and fortified foods). Stay away from salt substitutes as many are made with potassium. I don't think you can set your nutrients to include potassium on this site. You can track your sodium though. I would probably try to read labels and maybe even reference the USDA nutrient database and then log in your journal how much potassium you are consuming. The USDA nutrient database has the common amounts of specific nutrients for many food items.

You can do it. As the member stated below its going to take a bit of time and dedication with reading labels and WRITING THINGS DOWN. Maybe try finding an app that you can use on your phone or computer to record things, helping you keep track of them. Overtime you will get the hang of it and have a better idea of what's okay to eat etc. Its a learning process, but you can do it Smile

I try to keep mine around 1,200 - 1,500 a day, The FDA says up to 2,500 is okay, but i disagree, The FDA does not care about the health of people as much as it cares about the profits of the food industry and the Drug industry benefits from you not being healthy.

Does the doctor want you to lower your potassium levels or increase the intake? As stated above read the labels. There are a number of really good resources on the internet to help you track both.
