A very very good friend of mine and a member here started this question in my journal. I suggested she start a forum on the subject. I am helping her out and starting with the first entry. Arrow Post as many times as you want across many days if you want but only one thankful listing per post per day so we can keep the thread alive.[/b]Exclamation

Listing the things that a person is grateful for is a good daily practice. It is very healthy for the spirit.I am 60 years old and I have learned that if you have your health you are richer by far than any millionaire. So I am very thankful for good health, that I can still hear even though I have lost some from Meniere's Disease.

Hey 'deadcenter' thanks for the assistance -- you stole my initial thankful post -- but I'll use it anyway Smile I am very thankful for my loving husband who should be an inspiration to anyone on a self-improvement journey.

My faith in God, My husband and daughter, my family, my friends, my house. Honestly there are so many things to list. On a "lighter" note here are some things that I am thankful for associated with weight loss. Crossing my legs again, Seeing I still have collar bones and hip bones, walking uphill without being out of breath, knowing that hunger is not a bad thing and that I can overcome it instead of it overtaking me.

Let's see...

1. Having lost all my excess weight. The rest of the journey is simply fine-tuning.
2. Having the most awesome (and gorgeous, and supportive) Wife in the world.
3. A fulfilling and satisfying job.
4. TWO "second jobs" that I only do for fun, and that I love doing.
5. Building my own business from one of those 2nd jobs.
6. Playing in a ROCKIN' band!
7. Having the body and health of a boy in his twenties, the wisdom of a man in his fourties, and the playfulness of a five year old. Smile

Does it get any better than that? Smile

I went from morbidly obese to being the owner of TABDIG - a weight loss coaching service that helps people worldwide losing weight. It's been an amazing journey. From October 4th 2010 to April 3rd 2012 I lost half my body weight - 80 kilos/170 lbs. Since then, I have had two cosmetic surgeries to remove excess skin. I have now quadrupled my strength, gained several kilos in muscle mass, and today I focus on building muscle, optimizing my diet, living healthy and helping people to reach the very same goals. I am stronger, healthier, thinner, happier! If you feel that you need help losing weight, don't hesitate to send me an inbox message.

Great to see all the responses. I was hoping to get one response (entry) per day over a period of time. So the thread could live on. Kingkeld -- That would have been seven days at seven entries. I know it's like padding the thread but I want to see it grow.

That total strangers care enough to take the time to be supportive of others' struggles, as evidenced in these forums.

What's wrong with sex?

Or does our thanks have to conform to strict stereotyped cheesy policy

If so please say so at the beginning of the thread

I'm thankful that I have a strong and determined mindset that has helped me focus on the best and only true method to get me into the best shape I have been for 30 years ...................and my wife can't keep her hands off my hot bod!
